Semi-brittle corundum

Description:

1. Semi-friable corundum is a new type of abrasive developed by us to meet the demands of the international market.

2. With high quality bauxite as raw material, it is produced in the based of smelting the vice-white fused alumina, adjusting smelting process and ratio of raw materials, melting at the high temperature of above 2100°C in the electric furnace, and using a special broken treatment technique.

3. Semi-brittle corundum is characterized by high temperature resistance, corrosion and erosion resistance, low apparent porosity and stable thermal stability.

Main performance:
1. Semi-brittle fused alumina has good roughness and self – sharpening. It is applied in the production of ceramics abrasives, resin abrasives and coated abrasives.

2. Bond abrasives have high wear-resistance, good self-sharpening and retention. In the same condition, the surface quality of work pieces, process efficiency and durability are superior to brown, white, zirconia, monocrystalline.

3. Semi-brittle corundum is applied in coarse grinding that can improve process efficiency. It is applied in fine grinding that can improve surface quality of work pieces.

4. Bond abrasives are applied in processing steel, bear steel, stainless steel and tool steel. Cr,w,Mo,V,Co low content special alloy steel, part of cast iron, all kinds of non-ferrous metal.

Application:

Semi-brittle corundum is in the processing of synthetic material, veneer, laminate, thin board, hardwood, softwood, lacquer, leather.
