Product Description
The coated diamond has a close coating and is excellent in adhesiveness between diamond and the coating, and thus can be used for preparing a composite material which exhibits excellent properties inherent in diamond more faithfully. There are breeds: nickel plated, titanium plated, copper plated and chrome plated. The metal coated diamonds have the following features:
1. Enhance the bonding between the diamond crystal and the resin bond.
2. Improve thermal conductivity during grinding. Since the metal coating on the synthetic diamond particles transfers heat slower than diamond particles do and most of heat can be transferred to inosculating intermedium, the synthetic diamond can be protected from Overheating.
3. Reduce the damages to the diamond during high temperature grinding process. By being coated, diamond can keep its original natures, instead of being carbonized and oxidized.
