The garnet is a kind of garnet consisting of iron aluminum silicate. The main colours are orange red, brown red and cherry red. The Specific gravity is 3.8-4.1. The hardness is 7.5-8. It's a kind of weakly magnetic mineral, transparent, luster. It has suitable harness, high toughness, sharp edge and stable chemical property. There is no free silica in the garnet product. It's good natural abrasive.The main application of garnet is as below:
