Description: 6-BA is white crystal powder, density is 1.4g/cm3, melting point is 230-233, slight soluble in water, soluble in ethanol and acid solutions.

Toxicity: Acute Oral LD50 (Rat)>1310 mg/kg, Dermal LD50 (Rabbits)>5000 mg/kg.

Function: It is the first synthetic cytokinin. It can inhibit degradation of chlorophyll, nucleic acid and protein, promote delivery of amino acid, inorganic salt and growth regulators to applied positions. It helps plant to keep green and retard aging. It is commonly used in tissue culture, and promote cell division and differentiation induced. top edge, and so on. 

Used to enhance the production of fruiting rate, promote the growth of fruits and vegetable preservation,  breaking dormancy,promote seed germination, breaking the top edge, and so on.
