Specification-Furfuryl Alcohol

Furfuryl alcohol is made from furfuryl by means of catalysis with hygeon. It is colorless or light yellow transparent liquid and becomes brown or dark red while exposed to the air. It is solute in water, alcohol, ether, benzene, and chloroform freely in any ratio, but not dissolved in paraffin wax and other hydrocarbon chemicals.
