Wedge anchor is a type of fastener used to attach a fixture to a solid base material(such as corcrete).The installed end of the anchor has a conical protion aronud which a metal clip is fastened.When the anchor is set the cone pulls up through the clip and expands the clip againest the side walls of the hole .This gires the anchor its resistance to tension.
