This is FIBA approval and used in many national games

The inner diameter of the ring is φ 450±2mm; the diameter of the ring is φ19mm. 

The ring is installed with elastic mechanism, which enables it to restore easily and

 also prolongs the service life.

The ring is endowed with good flexing resistance; when the top of the ring is applied

 with certain external force (1500N dead load) for one minute, 

the lowered height of the ring shall be no more than 5mm when the external force 

is unloaded.
