AEM5700 ANTIMICROBIAL AGENT
1:Instructions
AEM 5700 antimicrobial agent can be mixed directly in organic and inorganic fomula,and also be dealed with the organic and inorganic matrix. It’s suitable dissolvent includes water,alcohol,ketones,esters,hydro carbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons.It’s process modes can be brush application,soakage,padding,spray,mist spray and foam finishing technology.
After processing,dry the items in room temperature,or bake them under the temperature of 160°C in the initial phase. the maximum temperature below 200°C,makes the silanol group in the antimicrobial agent react thoroughly. Production-scale test is necessary before use, to make sure the best application process condition such as time and temperature conditions.
2.Apply in batched production
Batched dyed yarn producton:apply in the process of hank dyeing and cone yarn dyeing.
AEM5700 application amount: 0.5%-1%(o.w.f.)
bath ratio: 1:10~1:20
PH5~7(weak acid or neutral)
1) AEM5700 belongs to methanol solution,can be diluted in water easily.Add AEM5700 while stirring water,make it to be dilute solution,It’s density of aqueous solution is adjusted by raw material of treated items, processing method,product usage and so on.
2) Adopt general dyeing machine for fiber process.Handle yarn by Obermaier dyeing machine, hank-dyeing machine and cone dyeing machine.Handle fabric by rope dyeing machine and soak dyeing machine.Handle products by drum dyeing machine.After dye process,wash and dehydrate the items thoroughly,then apply AEM5700 before dry process.
3) When process with AEM5700,the most important is to rinse with water thoroughly for the surface of treated items before application.
4) Dye stuff,cleaner,and other dirt need to be clean thoroughly with water or hot water.If process AEM5700 for the stained treated items,the agent may come off with the stain once wash.
5) After processing with AEM5700,bake and dehydrate the treated items in the temperature of 80-120°C,will form firm coat on the surface of treated items.This coat is not formed and harden by heat,the dry process only takes the effect of drying the wet treated items.That is,even dry in the air,it’s antimicrobial capability is the same as dry them by baking.
6) For soft,handfeel, absorption,static-free and anti fouling treament,consider the ionicity of finishing agent. For example, for cationic and nonionic finishing agent,though can be processed with AEM5700 to a bath, to increase the processing efficiency,it’s better to handle it by one bath two section or two bath apart.
7) For cationic finishing agent,avoid handle to one bath,must be processed by two bath.Process the AEM5700 first on all the above accations.
3:Apply continuously in dip tank
After treatment process
1) Make sure the dip tant and fabric is clean for the best effect of agent.
2) AEM 5700 is cationic,need to be compatible with softener and other auxiliary agent.If softener or other auxiliary agent is negative ion series or incompatible with AEM5700,need another process,but AEM5700 first.
3) If deal with nylon fabric( use acid dye for nylon dyeing),may neutralize remained anion by quaternary ammonium salts,then wash completely.
4:Store and shelf life
“Keep it far away from heat source and fire”
AEM5700 antimicrobial agent can keep for 12 months in the sealed originsl contsiner equals or below 25°C when delivery.It’s sensitive to humidity, cap or seal well after every application.
5:Handling
It may bring about skin allergy to some person,wear gloves when handling.
AEM5700 antimicrobial agent contains carbinol,should keep far away from heat source and fire.In work place,should take suitable measures to avoid density accumulation of carbinol steam
