Tinted float glass is produced by adding a colourant during a float glass production run. The most common colours are green,bronze,blue, pink and grey. Apart from its function in an aesthetic sense, tinted float glass is primarily designed to reduce solar heat gain and glare and increase the comfort levels and reduce cooling costs in buildings.
Most tinted float glass can be toughened, a process that creates safety glass out of annealed glass. Kindly offers the tinted glass from 4mm up to 12mm.
