About The Production

1.With the contacting zone is availqable in a large choice of Tips-styles.It must provide the smallest possible contact resistance between the Test probe and test point, to ensure that measurement results are not distorted,most of plungers will be made of BeCu,and as the resistance,B.T.TECH change the way,test probe plunger will be gold plated!!

About Platings

The several components of probes(plungers,barrels and springs) are subjected before assembling to particular galvanic treatments that determine their conductivity,durability,hardness and abrasion resistance features.Herewith we list the main treatments requested and used in our internal galvanic plant:

·HARDGOLD: It has a hardness,depending from its nickel percentage,from 200 to 350 HV.It has excellent chemical properties becoming the suitable treatment to have the best electrical contact.For a better aesthetic aspect(hardgold treatment has a dull colour) it is usually covered by a little layer of pure gold.

·ELECTROPLATED NICKEL:Its hardness is 200-220HV.This treatment treated.

·CHEMICAL NICKEL:It's much harder than electroplated nickel,reaching 600-700HV wit peaks of 850-900HV when then heat treated.Electrical resistance goes from 70 to 100 micon-omega/cm.Usually it is used as first layer for the treatment hardgold+flash gold of plungers.

·RHODIUM:This is a very hard metal(up to more than 1000HV)but its deposit is not always uniform and constant.Tis negatively influence the electrical conductivity in comparison to the better hardgold+flash.
