Product Introduction:

This series of foaming agents is used widely in the foaming of plastics, such as EVA,PE, PVC and multiple rubbers. In particular, it is suitable to the hot-pressing molding of EVA shoe material in large or small molds.

Application specification:

This series of foaming agents decomposes at around 160°c in EVA/rubber mixture to release useful nitrogen, carbon dioxide and a small amount of ammonia. The decomposing temperature of mid-temperature foaming agent is not high,  no activator is needed to activate its decomposition, and it will decompose completely within a short time without producing the unnecessary color resulting from the residual foaming agent. Or a small quantity of zinc oxide or stearic acid will be added activate it decompose at a lower temperature.

 

The decomposition of this series of foaming agents is mild relatively, and the process of its decomposition matches the half-time of decomposition of bridging agent (DCP), so that the foaming speed will match the bridging speed. All of those lead to the following results: cells in the foamed products will be fine, the time necessary for foaming and bridging will be greatly reduced.

 

Like low-temperature foaming agents, this series of foaming agents will endow products with an adequate whiteness without adding too much white paint, such as titanium dioxide, which helps to avoid such a consequence: other physical performances of the product is affected by adding too much white paint. This series of foaming agents is free of the odor characteristic of formaldehyde generated by common low-temperature foaming agents.

 

As an ideal modified AC blowing agent, the mid-temperature foaming agent integrates the merits of both high-and low-temperature foaming together.

Package and storage:

The mid-temperature foaming agent with storage stability under common temperature. It should be kept in cool and dry place, away from hot steam pipeline, fire source, and direct sunlight. Never let it contract directly with acids and alkalis. Good ventilation conditions should be realized where the foaming agent is treated or mixed. Be careful not to inhale its powder, make frequent skin contact or swallow it.


Each 25kg of this foaming agent is packed in plastic lined bag, carton or fiber drum according to clients' demands.


Each batch of this series of foaming agent weighs 3 tons. While using the foaming agent of same batch, only a handful is needed to test for confirmation and then the whole batch can be used with certainty.
