Overview
This 1.3 mega pixel serial JPEG camera, has the same features with 0.3 mega pixel serial JPEG camera which is built in snapshot, JPEG compression and serial interface communication module, moreover, it has more outstanding functions, is it not only captures high resolution (1280*1024) pictures but also insures good pictures’ quality no matter in day and night because of two lenses (a color lens and a white-black lens) switching to work between day and night.
Features
1. On board two lenses
One is color lens, another one is infrared (white-black) lens. The former captures picture in daytime, and the latter works during the night. Color lens can snapshot brightly colored pictures in daytime, infrared lens captures clear black-white picture in night. The two lenses automatically switch to work between day and night, no need any other command to control it. Such new designed camera avoids the disadvantage caused by one infrared lens capturing color-distorted picture in daytime.
2. Low power consumption
DC+5V supply
Two operation modes: working mode and standby mode. The current is about 220mA under working mode, 20mA under standby mode.
3. On board EEPROM provides a command-based interface to external host via TTL or RS232 or RS485 serial link.
4. UART: 9600-115200bps transferring JPEG still pictures.
5. Built-in down sampling, clamping and windowing circuits for 1280*1024, 640*480, 320*240, 160*120 image resolutions.
6. Compression ratio can be changed flexibly by user.
7. No external DRAM required.
8. Auto-Infrared, Auto-White Balance, Auto-Gain Control.
