Overview

This system is integrated with laser auxiliary illumination, varifocal and double-detector lens, color camera and Ultra-low-illumination and wide-IR video camera by means of scientific and advanced method. Color surveillance during daytime and the same surveillance in the totally dark environment during nighttime are achieved. It is suitable for medium- and long- distance night surveillance.

Main Functions and Features

1. Double-Detector Design

With double-detector lens treated with special coating in IR wave band, this system ensures high optical transmittance in visible light and IR wave bands. Two or more video cameras can be connected at the same time according to the actual requirements of the user or the surveillance environment to make color video camera, black & white video camera and fog penetration and high light intensity camera optional.

2. Automatic Switch of Video Detector

The system can automatically choose color camera or black & white camera to operate according to the variation of illumination in the environment. All-weather real-time surveillance is achieved with color during daytime and black & white during nighttime as a result of synchronization between the working status of black & white camera and that of the laser illuminator. The laser illuminator can be compulsorily remotely turned on/off.

3. Synchronization between the Working Status of Black & White Camera and That of the Laser IR Light Source

Ordinary color/black & white switching video camera (switch from color to black & white) is highly affected by stray light around it. As imaging is made by means of switching filters, each color/black & white switching video camera has its own specific application. Thus the effect is not comparable to professional color or black & white camera. In addition, in the condition of sufficient illumination, color/black & white switching video camera will take it as daytime and automatically switch to color status in which color is not sensed, and then return to black & white status. Such circulation will result in no imaging. With double-detector system, GLN laser night vision system avoids the occurrence of problems mentioned above.

4. Adjustable Size of Illumination Light Spot

With specially designed illumination optical system that enables remote real-time adjustment of illumination angle and intensity of illumination light spot, the no-blind-zone night vision surveillance with short distance, large field of view and large light spot illumination as well as long distance, small field of view and small light spot illumination is achieved.

5. High Stable Optical Axis

The optical axis fine adjustment system ensures the conformity between the imaging system and the image of the illumination system during entire zooming process, no departure or jittering of the light spot.

6. Key Parts Are Specially Treated to Ensure Their Service Life

The service life of the laser is guaranteed as it is sealed in a nitrogen-filled environment after vacuum pumping and heat dissipation and air cooling are also considered in operating status.

7. Unique Processing on Details

In addition to multilayer hard coatings for visible light wave band, multilayer hard coatings for IR wave band are also added to the cover protection glass to ensure the night vision and fog penetration effects of the system. Cooling fins on the cover of the unit ensure long time stable operation of the laser. Tailor-made special constant temperature systems are available

according to geography and climate.

Optional Functions

1. Laser linkage

For ease of use,  zooming and focusing functions of the imaging lens, spot size and intensity of the laser are designed to join and act together; when the system lens zooming, angle and size of the laser spot will act together in order to achieve automatic tracking for the best performance.

2. Presetting Position

For easy operation, zoom and focus of the imaging lens, size and intensity of the light spot of the laser illumination and the position of the Pan & Tilt can all be preset and interlocked. One touch operation is really achieved, solving the problems in switch of multiple surveillance points.

3. Optional Fog Penetration Function

System with fog penetration function can be chosen by the user in foggy environment to increase the surveillance range and image definition in foggy environment.

4. Strong Light Proofing Function

Sometimes relatively complicated illumination conditions (such as the headlights of vehicles, trains, ships and airplanes, search lights and flashing police car lamps) might be encountered during night surveillance. For ordinary laser night vision system, the video camera will be saturated, the image is bright white only and the object is just a blur. With Glopro strong light proofing function, phenomena mentioned above will be prevented and relatively clear images can be obtained.
