Chempack has three types of ceramic balls for different application:
A.Inert Ceramic Ball as Catalyst Support Media for Chemical & Petrochemical
B.Heat Storage Ceramic Balls used for thermal conductivity in iron & steel plants
C.Alumina Grinding Balls used in ball mills as abrasive media

Inert ceramic balls have high strength and high stabilities to chemical and thermal circumstances. It can resist to acid, alkali, salt and all organic solvents, used as a support and a covering material in reactors in oil refinery, chemical, fertilizer, natural gas and environmental protection industry.
Diameter: 3 - 75mm or as per clients
Al2O3 composition: 20 - 95%

Heat storage ceramic balls are characterized by its high strength, low abrasion loss, large heat capacity and thermal conductivity result in efficient heat storage performance, excellent resistance to high temperature and the thermal shock. The balls have been effectively used in recuperator in air separation process, and also used to pre-heat the gas and the air in coal gas heating furnace in iron and steel plant.

Refractoriness: 1,550 - 1,700 centigrade degrees
Mohs hardness: more than 6.5

Alumina grinding balls has been widely used in ball mills as abrasive media for ceramic raw material and glaze materials in ceramic factory, cement factory, enamel factory and glasswork owing to the excellence of high density, high hardness, and high wear resistance. During the abrasive/grinding processing, ceramic balls will not be broken.
