2,the character of the povidone k90:
powder or aqueous solution,PVP k90 is diffluent in water, alcohol, amine and halohydrocarbon, but is not dissolved in acetone and aether etc.. It has good solubility, biocompatibility, and physiologically inert, film-forming character, colloid protect ability and compound ability to many organic or inorganic compounds. It is also steady to acid, salt and heat, so it is widely used.

Cosmetics: pvp k series can be used as dispersant, film-forming agent, viscosity-enhanceme
-nt agent, lubricator and adhesive. They are used either in hair-care products, such as hair sprays, mousse, gelsand lotion, shampoo and hair-duing reagent, or in skin-care products, such as lipstick, sunscreen and modifier, deodorant and dentifrice.
Pharmaceutical: Povidone K30 is one of new pharmaceutical excipients. It is used as binder for tablet and granule, dissolving assistant and stabilizer for injection ,flow assistant for capsule, dispersant for liquid medicine and stain, stabilizer for enzyme and heat sensitive drug ,coprecipitant for poorly soluble drugs ,lubricator and antitoxic assistant for eye drug and film-fromng agent for coating. PVP works as excipient in more than one hundred drugs. povidone K30 (pharmaceutical grade, povidone K30)has been permitted by China National Drug Administration to be sold in China Market.
