Wet type ammonia method is presently more maturely, industrialization and ammonia method desulphurization process. And this method not only makes desulphurization but also take off nitrogen.
Wet type ammonia process generally divided into three steps: desulphurization absorption, reactant supply system, intermediate goods processing, by-products manufacturing.
The flue gas enters into the desulphurization tower from the existing flue. After into the desulphurization tower, the flue gas contacts the downstream spraying slurry including the ammonia. S02 in the flue gas will be absorbed by the ammonia slurry and at the same time the fly ash content in the flue gas will be maintained less than 150mgm3. Slurry will saturate the gas and cool the temperature form the entrance l40 to 50 , following the gas through the ripple type demist device of the desulphurization tower to remove liquid droplets in gas. In order to reduce chemistry, ammonium sulfate products loss and evaporation will wash the demist device by clean water. The gas which in operating spray mist tower leave the desulphurization tower and heat gas through the heater and with the temperature of 80 , according to the design of the operating conditions enter into the existing chimney device.
