Indoor High Voltage Vacuum Circuit Breaker ZN28A-12

I.Overview

ZN28A-12 series indoor high voltage vacuum circuit breaker is a kind of indoor device of 3 phase, 50Hz, 12KV rated voltage, mainly installed in fixed switchgear cabinet to be used in industrial and mineral enterprises, power plant and transformer substations for purpose of protection and control, it is suitable for frequently operated equipments.

II.Environmental conditions for operation

2.1 Ambient temperature no higher than +40°C, no less than 10°C (it's allowable to store and transport under -30°C);

2.2 Altitude no greater than 1000m, (plateau type can be used at an altitude of 4000m);

2.3 The daily average of relative humidity of atmosphere no greater than 95%, monthly average no more than 90%; and daily average of saturated vapor pressure no greater than 2.2*10-3mPa, monthly average no greater than 1.8×10-3mPa;

2.4 Seismic intensity no greater than 8 degree;

2.5 Free from fire, severe contaminant, chemical corrosion and violent vibration. 

III.Structure and features

3.1 The product is of fixed style vacuum circuit breaker particularly used on switchgear cabinet, it doesn’t carry any operation mechanism on itself and therefore need to be equipped with appropriate operation mechanism when being put to use.

3.2 The circuit breaker is fitted with an intermediately sealed longitudinal magnetic field vacuum arc-chute with its opening spring of the spindle and the oily buffer etc., mounted on the frame, as shown in figure 1 and figure 2; on the left side of the framework there are mounting holes for the breaker to be fixed; on the right side of the framework there are 6 insulators horizontally fitted (3 respectively on each of the upper and lower part, upper insulators to secure the upper bracket, and lower insulators to secure the lower bracket; the right sides of both the upper and the lower brackets are also used to mount cable outgoing terminals as shown in figure 3; the vacuum arc chute is fitted in between the upper and lower brackets; through the insulating crank the spindle is connected to the movable conducting rod inside the vacuum arc-chute, and there is a insulating rod mounted between both brackets to integrate both as a whole so as to boost the ruggedness of the assembly.

3.3 The circuit breaker enjoys a long life expectancy, simple in maintenance, free from explosion, pollution and produces little noise. It is suitable for harsh working conditions like frequent operation etc.
