Urine test strip URS-10A, rapid urinalysis 10 paras in one strip with high accurancy.

Jilin Yida Medical Equipments Co., Ltd. was established in April 2000, which located in Economic & Technological Development Zone of Changchun. It’s an R&D enterprise, which mainly develop, produce and sales urine test strips and urine analyzer.

At present, there are more than 30 types of urine test strips produced by our company, which widely used to the domestic market and received so much favorable comments from our customers. Furthermore, we can also provide customers with any series of paper pads with specifications from 1 parameter to 12 parameters including MA according to their requests.

URS-10A could rapid test 10 parameters in one strip as below:

* Urobilinogen

* Bilirubin

* Ketone (acetoacetic acid)

* Blood

* Protein

* Nitrite

* Leucocyte

* Glucose

* Specific gravity

* pH

NITRITE:

This test depends upon the conversion of nitrate (derived from the diet) to nitrite by the action of principally Gram negative bacteria in the urine. The test is specific for nitrite and will not react with any other substance normally excreted in urine. Pink spots or pink edges should not be interpreted as a positive result. Any degree of uniform pink colour development should be interpreted as positive nitrite test suggesting the presence of 10 or more organisms per ml, but colour development is not proportional to be number of bacteria present. A negative result does not in itself prove that there is no significant bacteriuria. Negative results may occur when urinary tract infections are caused by organisms, which do not contain reductase to convert nitrate to occur, or when dietary nitrate is absent, even if organisms containing reductase are present and bladder incubation is ample. Sensitivity of the nitrite test is reduced for urines with high specific gravity. Ascorbic acid concentrations of 1.40 mmol/l or greater may cause false negative results with specimens containing small amounts of nitrite ion (13umol/l or less)

LEUCOCYTES:

Normal urine specimens generally yield negative result; positive results (+or greater) are clinically significant. Individually observed Trace result may be of questionable clinical significance; However Trace result observed repeatedly may be clinically significant. Positive results may occasionally be found with random specimens from females due to contamination of the specimen by vaginal discharge. Elevated glucose concentrations (160mmol/l) or high specific gravity may cause decreased test results. The presence of cephalexin, Lodine, cephalothin or high concentrations of oxalic aicd may also cause decreased test results. Tetracycline may cause decreased reactivity. And high levels of the drug may cause false negative reaction. Nitrofurantoin gives a brown color to the urine that may mask the colour reaction on the reagent pad. Any substance that causes abnormal urine colour may obscure the color reaction.

SPECIFIC PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS:

Specific performance characteristics are based on clinical and analytical studies. In clinical specimens, the sensitivity depends upon several factors: the variability of colour perception the presence or absence of inhibitory factors typically found in urine, SG, PH and the lighting conditions when the product is read visually. Each colour block or instrumental display value represents a range of values. Because of specimen and reading variability, specimens with analyte concences between the perception of the human eye and optical system of the instruments. The following table lists the generally detectable levels of analytes in contrived urine; However, because of the inherent variability of clinical urines, lesser concentrations may be detected under certain conditions.
