Composite Water Blocked Cable:
This cable is used in the oil fields for detecting earthquake vibrations and waves.

Technical Description:

This cable is normally used in the oil fields for detecting earthquake waves, and is especially suitable for transmission of high frequency data signal while providing power at the same time. The cable is an integrate cable which consists of 2 cores of insulated power wire, and some signal twisted pairs. The power insulation wire provides the power to the detection sensor, and the signal twisted pairs transmit the EMC signal from the sensors.

With the use of this cable, the information for detection in the oil fields can be analyzed and increased very rapidly with the development of science, technology and advancement in computer technology. The twisted pairs of the cable are an added feature which is used to process a higher transmitting rate. Essentially, this added feature achieves the transmission of information instantly and flawlessly. The construction of the cable consists of 3 or 4 twisted pairs, 2 cores of insulation wires and Kevlar strengthening filler. In the cable core, the twisted pairs are separated from the power insulation wires, and the twisted layers are different from each other, thus keeping the twisted pairs frame very stable. Simultaneously, the EMC interference along with overhearing distraction from one another will be minimal due to the construction of the signal twisted pairs and CAT5e network cable. Furthermore, the electric performance of the cable is very stable and credible. The impedance of the cable will be 100±15 ohms at 1 MHz to 100MHz. The attenuation of the cable will be small and the NEXT and FEXT shall be higher, therefore the effect of transmission will be at its best. As for the concern of water blockage, care has been taken to fill interstices, so that the effect of water proof portrait is immaculate. Furthermore, because of the Kevlar, the cable can bear the drawing force. Additionally, the cable sheath is made of polyurethane, so the cable possesses the pliability and abrasion resisting ability.

Construction of the Cable:

There are 2 power insulation wires and 3 or 4 twisted pairs and 1 core Kevlar in the cable core. The power insulation wire is as soft as stranded copper wire and with PE insulation. The twisted pairs are solid copper wire with PP insulation. The twisting of the pairs extruding with PE inner jacket is used to protect the pair construction stability and water proof performance. The Kevlar with PE jacket are to assure its circularity and uniformity of strength.

The Kevlar is put at the cable center, and the other units are inter-twisted as the cable core. The interspace is filled with ointment, and the jacket will be TPU.
