Overview
1. DJL series connector is the exclusive product of module power joint. It can exchange with the same model of ELCON completely. It passed the certification of UL (E229741) in 2002 and certification of TUV (R500705170001) in 2005. Adopting advanced one sheet hyperboloid springwire socket and crown socket as contact elements which make product have high dynamic contact reliability.
2. The contact element’s surface of this series adopts gold plating or silver plating. Plug with pin and socket with hole, its terminal types have crimping connection, welding connection and panel connection (PCB).
3. Each type this series’ pins have 3 types length to choose, including long pin, standard pin and short pin. They can also be ordered according to user’s requirements.
Note: crown material chooses beryllium bronze which is high in elasticity and strength. Socket which adopts crown structure has smooth arc contact surface. It’s soft in insertion and extraction and it can assure the maximum area of contact surface. So, socket which adopts crown structure is small in contact resistance (small in pressure drop), small in temperature-rise and high in vibration resistance. Therefore, socket which adopts crown structure has high dynamic contact reliability

Using methods of products and attentions
1. Mounting and using of contact elements(divideded according to terminal connection type)
(1) (panel connection) PCB terminal connection type: the chosen PCB must satisfy the maximum current which it can bear. Please make its mounting hole referring to the corresponding hole arrangement diagram to satisfy the requirement of matching.
(2) Welding type: after the corresponding cable wire’s end has been hot tin plated, weld it directly onto contact element’s welding wire cup by manul branding iron. Each contact element’s connection terminal which is exposed should be dealt with by heat shrinking tube for its insulation.
(3) Compressing connection type: first choose cable wire directly according to contact element and strip the head according to requirement, then compress it into contact element’s hole by exclusive compressing wire tool.

Note: to see if the quality of compressing connection satisfy requirement, only need to pull vertically by the minimum anti-pulling strength in the table above. The compressing wire end should to be no loosening.
2. Mounting of connector
The mounting of this product’s plug and socket would better adopt floating mounting type (choosing floating mounting screw). User can adopt panel mounting or PCB mounting according to his using requirement.
3. Choosing and attention:
(1) User chooses proper contact element’s terminal type directly according to practical needs(welding connection, compressing connection, panel connection)
(2) Each type of pins has three specifications of length for choosing (see illustration of contact element’s choosing). When choosing long pin and short pin, user must know the contact sequences of every type’s insertion.
(3) When put contact elements into the corresponding holes of plug and socket, the contact elements must be assured in the exact place and be located by the locating claw.(contact elements won’t be pushed out by axial reverse)
(4) If there’s requirement of inserting and extracting with power when using, please make special declaration. Contact element with gold plating is suggested (including pins and jack sockets).
