Description:

Physical Properties: fatty acid methyl ester is colorless or yellowish liquid with a melting point of 2°C and a relative density of 0.875(20/4°C). It is insoluble in water, stable in structure and noncorrosive.
Applications: fatty acid methyl ester is mainly used for producing epoxidized fatty acid methyl esters in plasticizer industry. It can be hydrogenated to form higher aliphatic alcohols, or directly used as diesel and fuel, or burnt in combination. It can reduce the discharge of sulfur dioxide. Meanwhile, it is a main raw material for producing degreasant, penetrants, emulsifiers and paints.
