1. It has rolling sealed bearing structure. The cylinder rolling element is placed within the groove of roller cone, thus enlarging the journal size and ensuring a better performance of roller bit.
2. The secondary surface of thrust bearing of roller bit has been handled with antifriction and hardening treatment so as to decrease the frictional force of bit for protecting its hardening resistance.
3. The roller bit uses new type lubricating grease which can bear the high temperature of 250°C and boasts abrasion resistance.
4. The full rubber oil reservoir uses limitable differential pressure and can prevent drilling fluid from entering lubricating system so as to provide qualified lubrication for bearing system.
The roller bit is a kind of decelerating kit, so that the rotation speed of roller cone is smaller than bit. The roller bit is mainly used to scrape broken rocks, suitable for various small-hole drilling operation such as old well`s window sidetracking and deepening under the high rotation speed and high bit pressure. Therefore it plays an important role in well drilling. The advantage is that it has extensive application fields. It can be used not only in well sidetracking but also in medium and deep well, showing superiority in well drilling operation. The roller bit has smaller operating torque than PDC bit under the same bit pressure and stratum, so that it can reduce expansion of small-size drilling tool to avoid drilling troubles. The roller bit combines advantages of tricone bit and PDC bit and avoids the defects of them, so that it not only can be more suitable for the operation in stratum of high intensity and plasticity than tricone bit but also is suitable for the operation in hard interlayer and other complex stratum where PDC bit is not suitable.
