1.Introduction       

Our device offers two 155Mb\s optical interfaces and can support 63 E1channels at most. But even it can improve to be 100M Ethernet interface, have element location timing accordant with ITU- T G.813 standard, have VC 12 across connected and channel protection function. Through our device, SDH can connect with accessing net seamlessly and it can be centralized managed. It saves a DDF distribution frame and a lot of 2M lines as to save cost and reduce the error ratio.

2. Structure

  There are 17 slots totally and indication goes as the following:

  Slot 1: network management card

  Slot2: STM-1 optical interface card with 1+1 protecting function.

  Slot3: EOS card or E1MAPPER card (for connection)

  Slot4: E1MAPPER (for expanding E1 time limit) or E1MAPPER (for connection)

  Slot5~15: common function cards

  Slot16~17: power card

 In the smallest system, slot5 offers single E1 channel, slot 6~15 offer two E1 channel. If inserting the E1MAPPER in the slot4, slot5 can offer two E1 channels, slot 6~15 each can offer For E1 channels; If inserting EOS card in the slot3, slot 5~15 each offer Ethernet interface.

3 Features

1). Multi cards and multi optical interfaces share or use solely one group of VC-4 line

2). Have 21 E1 interfaces and can improve to be up to 63 E1 interfaces at most, even to be 100M Ethernet Ethernet.

3). Offer two STM-1 optical interface and can connect with Varied SDH devices with 1+1 protection function..

4). Adapt the SDH center with SDH Clock function.

5). With the structure of slots for cards, can offer E1, V.35 and several Ethernet deal through the interface card so that it can connect with the original devices.

6). Have the centralized network management system to control the local and remote device.

7). Adapt 4u rack, offer two types of power supply: 220V and -48, offer two power cards with heat backup function
