Fluoroelastomer copolymer gum FKM-DS2600

FKM-DS2600 is copolymer of HFP and VDF.Normally it is white or light yellow translucent elastomer whose fluorine content is over 66%.After vulcanizing process,FKM products have excellent mechanical performance,outstanding anti-oil property (fuel oil,synthesis oil,lubricating oil) and high thermal stability.

Main Applications,

Widely used in high temperature,aviation, automobile,petroleum and chemical industries, oils lubricants,etc.Mainly used to produce gaskets,O-rings,V-rings,sealing bowl with metal bone,diaphragms,tube,valve-plate,rolls,etc.

 

Attention:

Fluoroelastomer gum has good thermal stability below 260°C, it will minimally decompose when placed in the temperature of 260°C-300°C for a long time.When higher than 320°C, it wil quickly decompose,and poisonous HF and fluorocarbon organic compound are produced;when it meets fire,it also release poisonous HF and fluorocarbon organic compound.Attention: FKM should not be calandered with metal powder(such as Al and Mg) or animine compound more than 10%. If that happens,temperature will arise and several element will react with FKM,which will damage the equipment and operators.Storage period is one year since producdtion,when exceeding the shelf life,it still can be used as long as it is retested and approved.
