By using the carbon additive from Duratight in producing casting, it can increase the quantity of scrap steel and reduce the quantity of scrap iron, or use no scrap iron at all. Duratight carbon additive has following features: high absorptivity, no residue and cost-saving.
1. Usage: used to improve the carbon content in steel-melting and ductile iron foundry.
2. Characteristics: high carbon, low sulfur, few harmful ingredients, high absorptivity of carbon, with stable effect on improving the carbon content.
3. Application: Used in electric furnace steel smelting and iron-casting to improve the carbon content.
4. Grain size: normal size: 0.3-3mm,1-4mm, 1-3mm, 3-5mm,3-8mm,5-10mm or as per customer's special requirement.
