Rotary Kiln Introduction

Working principle:

It mainly consists of kiln body, loading equipment, burning device, discharging device, whole-set control equipments , dust collector, etc.

The main components of limestone are calcium carbonate, and the lime is calcium oxide. The basic principle of burning lime is to produce calcium oxide and carbon dioxide through thermal decomposition of calcium carbonate.

The whole procession is that, sending the limestone and fuels into the kiln for preheating, when the temperature reach 850°C, they will decompose, till 1200°C, it will finish burning ,and  after chilling , they will be discharged from the kiln. Different shape of the kiln has different methods of preheating, burning, chilling and unloading. And only some of the technological principles is same, those are: the raw materials and the lime should be in good quality , and  the calorific value of fuel is high ,the consumption is little. Besides, size of the limestone is in proportion to the burning time, but the degree of the limestone activity is in inverse proportion to the burning time and temperature.
