Fire-resistant Plastic Insulated Cables
1.Standards
The fire-resistant cable electrical and mechanical properties comply with the national or industrial standards like GB12706, GB9330, GB5023 or JB8734 for the same rated voltage cable. The flame resistant property is accord with GB/T19666-2005 or IEC60332-3. The fire resistant property is accord with GB/T or IEC60331.
The cable is suitable for places where special fire-resistant requirement is need, such as subways, power plants, hospitals, high buildings and all sorts of amusement sites.

3.Fire-resistant property
The cable fire-resistant property is tested according to GB/T or IEC60331.
ZB: temperature of flame is 750°C to 800°C,time of supply fire is 90 minutes;
ZA: temperature of flame is 950°C to 1000°C,time of supply fire is 90 minutes;
4.Operation characteristic
XLPE insulated cable:
The maximum operating temperature of cores shall not exceed 90°C when the cable is used for long period. The temperature of cores shall not exceed 250°C at a short circuit (The max. duration dose not exceed 5 seconds).
PVC insulated cable:
The maximum operating temperature of cores shall not exceed 70°C when the cable is used for long period. The temperature of cores shall not exceed 160°C at a short circuit (The max. duration dose not exceed 5 seconds).
The installation circumstance temperature shall not be below 0°C. The bending radius shall not be less than 10 times the outer diameter of the cable.
Test result: 3A fuse must not be fused in 90 minutes at rated voltage.
