Terminator T808 System, offers special long Pulse-Width 808nm laser, can pass through the skin to the hair follicle, Using selective light absorption theory, laser can be preferentially absorbed by the melanin of the hair then it is transformed into heat energy, the intensity of heat destroys the follicle, matrix and the papilla which are the surrounding nourishing structures which help the hair grow; In the meantime, while the system's contact-cooling technology could delivery the local anaesthesia on epidermis immediately, which could protect the skin from unwanted thermal damage during the laser energy delivery.
