Magnesium Ingot
Introduction
It’s silver metal, soft and light with ductility and supplied in the form of solid with a density of around 1.738g/cm3 and Melting point 648.9°C in normal atmospheric pressure. Magnesium has a strong reductibility and reacts with water to form explosive hydrogen gas. It has the high comparative strength and comparative rigidity in the commonly used structural metals. It has excellent dimensional stability, thermal and electricity conductivity, magnetic shielding performance. It has excellent damping capacity and low inertia which makes it a good choice for parts which undergo frequent and sudden high-speed changes in the direction of motion.
Application
The high temperature at which magnesium burns makes it a useful tool for starting emergency fires duringoutdoor recreation including flashlight photography, flares, pyrotechnics and fireworks sparklers.
To photoengrave plates in the printing industry.In the form of turnings or ribbons, to prepare Grignard reagents, which are useful in organic synthesis.As an additive agent in conventional propellants and the production of nodular graphite in cast iron.As a reducing agent for the production of uranium and other metals from their salts.As a sacrificial (galvanic) anode to protect underground tanks, pipelines, buried structures, and water heaters.

1mt magnesium pallet, steel strapped with plastic cover (magnesium pallets means pallets producedusing magnesium, with its net weight calculated into net weight of goods. The chemical composition is the
same as the magnesium ingots. The only difference between magnesium pallets and magnesium ingots is
the shape. Magnesium pallets are formed by two, three or four foot ingots)
