Mgo fire board

Magnesium Oxide fire board is made of content of mgo, mgcl2, alkali-resistant grassfibre mesh, plantifibre, natural perlite and modifying agent etc.

Production specification: 1200*2100, 1220*2440mm with thickness 3mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm and 18mm etc.

Any size can be produced according to client requirements.

Character of mgo board:

1.       Fireproof:

The mgo board has passed A1-class fire resistant testing, non-inflammable. It does not burn at 800.C, which can absorb most heat of fire and delay temperature rising, reaching even 3 hours duration of fire resistance when applying with galvanized steel studs.

2.       Waterproof:

The board can keep its original shape without any deformation or expansion even existing in very cold and wet weather or dip this material in water for long time.

3.       Lightweight:

Density of the board is around 0.8-1.2g/cm3,which is light enough to reduce 60% pressure from interior wall, and save room around 5 to 8 percent. It is very good anti-seismic construction material.

4.       High breaking strength:

Vertical bending strength can reach 322kgf/cm2, while horizontal 216kgf/cm2, impact resistance 25MPa.

5.       Thermal insulation and energy conservation:

Thermal coefficient of the board if 0.21w/cm·k, while good at heat insulation and saving energy, keeping comfortable and fresh air.

6.       Cost saving:

The board can be used very conveniently, such as sticking, cutting, nailing, drilling, painting and planning etc. Also, it can be assembling very easily.

7.       Sound insulation:

Sound insulation is more than 44db. The standard of sound insulation of the 95mm wall made of this material is equal to the 123mm wall made of the 12mm gypsum boards in four layers, and approximate to the 150mm ordinary solid brick wall. This guarantees a quiet place for living.

8.       Functional:

Mgo board can be made both smooth and rough surfaces, which can be applied many different materials, such as wallpaper, veneer, tiles, marble and emulsion paint etc.

9.       Durable in use:

The board does not expand much when not or to shrink when cold with shrinkages less than 0.3 percent while wet expanding rate not more than 0.6 percent.

10.   Insect prevention and mould proof:

Because of inorganic contents, the mgo board is free from damaging by worms or mildwy.
