TXK-5 is microprocessor controlled.
A front panel LCD display is for displaying:
Pre-set and remaining centrifugal time. The timer start counting down when run speed reaches the pre-set speed.

Pre-set and running RCF
A touch control panel is for easily pre-setting of speed, RCF and run time.
There is an On/Off switch with pilot lamp to ensure power supply.
Parameter setting (with audible beeps when pressing buttons and corresponding indicator light):
Speed from 0-5000 rpm
RCF from 0-2600g
Run Time from 0-999 9 seconds.
All parameters can be changed during a run.
The instrument external case is die casted with high-strength engineering plastics.
Centrifugal chamber is made of stainless steel.

The lid can be locked for operation safety.
Safety function:
Safety lid protection will stop spinning (with alarm beeps) when lid is opened during operation
If one start spinning with the lid not properly closed, the system will prevent rotor from spinning (with alarm beeps).
The safety over-speed protection will stop rotation when speed is 1000 RPM or above exceeding the pre-set speed.
The system has self-balanced function to compensate small imbalance that may occur. The user does not need to weigh an exact equal weight to balance the opposite position. It is nevertheless, recommended to avoid imbalance to prevent rotor damage in long run.
