Impellers and Stators for Flotation Machines

Flotation machines are an indispensable kind of processing equipment in the ore dressing process. Impellers and stators for flotation machines are also key components of the same. Depending on the demands of the process flow, different flotation machines equipped with different types of impellers and stators are selected. The following two types of flotation machines are frequently applied:

1. Mechanically agitated flotation machines:

This type of flotation machines makes use of impellers and stators to realize aerating, mixing and mineralizing of the slurry. Its advantages are that it is easier to be adjusted, and is more ready to handle changes in ore properties, and can overcome the settlement in the cells of minerals particles with coarser sizes and in higher density, and it has a high volume utilization rate, a higher production rate per unit volume, a strong capacity of slurry throughput, and is more ready  to be made automatically controlled. Based on the different structural modes of the impellers and the stators, the mechanically agitated flotation machines can be classified into XJ type (ie. A type), JJF type, XJQ type, SF type, BS-M type and WEMCO type..

2. Aeration mechanically agitated flotation machines:

An external blower is needed to supply air while impellers and stators are being used to agitate the slurry so as to get the same mixed up and thus to result in mineralized slurry. This type of flotation machines makes use of the mechanical agitation device to mix the slurry. Its advantages are that it lowers the power consumption per unit tonnage treated, is energy-saving, and does not tend to be of argillization when brittle mineral is processed, meanwhile it provides a fairly stable mineral fluid surface level so that a stable froth layer tends to be formed, and it favors the improvement of technical figures of a flotation machine. Aeration mechanically agitated flotation machines are seen such as: CHP-X type, BS-X type, XJC type, BS-K type and KYF type.
