The Main Structure of Disk Granulator
Disk granulating machine has a fixing rack on which the spindle is supported by a set of bearing. The spindle on the rack is in a declining shape.The upper end of the spindle is equipped with shaft sleeve,by which the spindle and the shaft are connected together in the balling tray back.The front and rear end of the balling disc is convex and the central structure,cylindrical and hollow. The shape through its axis of cross-section is roughly oval. In order to reduce the radial shearing force of the spindle, the rack below the balling tray is equipped with roller supports for holding the ball disk. The roller support device is composed of 2 parts:2 sets of bearing seat with symmetrical setup and roller supports passing the rotating device of the bearing seat. Axis of roller support and axis of the balling tray are equal set. The roller holds the radial outer boundary underneath the disc granulator.
As the roller support device rotates with the disc granulator through friction, it bears most weight of the disc granulator and the inside materials and thus reduces radial shearing force the spindle bears. The rack is installed with electric motor. The motor drives the speed reducer through a belt transmission mechanism. The power output shaft of the reducer is fixed with pinion driven by engagement transmission of outer ring-gears.
During the practical using,The motor drives the speed reducer through a belt transmission mechanism.The power output shaft of the reducer, through pinion driven by engagement transmission of outer ring-gears, rotates around axes with the disc granulator driven by outer ring-gears. At the same time, the balling disc rotates on roller support device. Materials go into the ball disk from the ball-plate bets. After forming sphere,materials are discharged from the discharging device of the ball disc’s cylinder wall and enter next working procedure.
