 2. Usages:

(1)Oxalic acid is mainly used as a reducing agent and bleaching agent.It is used for the production of antibiotics and borneol and other drugs as well as refining rare metals solvents, dyes, tanning agent, reducing agent. Oxalic acid can also be used for cobalt - molybdenum - alumina catalyst production, metal and marble cleaning and textile bleaching. It is also used for metal surface cleaning and processing, rare earth extraction, textile printing and dyeing, leather processing, catalyst preparation.

(2)Oxalic acid can also be used for the synthesis of various acid, oxalate and oxalic amide and other products, and with two ethyl oxalate and sodium oxalate, calcium oxalate, yield the largest.

 (3)As a mordant in dyeing,antimony oxalate can be used as a mordant, ferric ammonium oxalate is printed blueprint.

(4)Oxalic acid can be used for removing rust.But be careful with oxalic acid, strong corrosive to stainless steel. High concentrations of oxalic acid is also easy hand corrosion. And the generated acid oxalate solubility is very big, but have a certain toxicity. When in use, do not eat or drink on the line.
