Sarcandra Glabra(Thunb.)Nakai is also known as "9-knotted flower" and "bone-knitted lotus",is a semi-bush plant affiliated to the chestnut magnolia , is one of rare Chinese herbal medicines. The medicine has expansion of wood knot with relative leaves,with nearly-leather quality, with egg lanceolate or oval shape, with serrated edges and petiole base of a sheath-like formation.
