A.  Description of mandarin:

Variety satsuma, all mandarin segments are Chinese origin, to be peeled and without seeds, cleanly washed, carefully sorted, without rotten mandarin, IQF, metal detected and free from any foreign substance.

B. Packaging:
(1) Pack size: as to customers’ request, 10kg per Carton.
(2) Pack type: Export standard outer case, no nails, flaps are to be sealed with self adhesive freezer stable tape, the cartons is waterproof, new polythene food grade liner.
(3) Labeling: buyers’ request, normally including product Description, Country of Origin, Net Weight.

C.Physical parameters of mandarin segments and broken(per 500g).

Brix level: 9-12degree;  PH:3.2-3.8

Color: typical yellow color of mandarin.

Taste: typical taste of the mandarin, without any off-taste.

Normal size: L 3-5cm, L≥2/3 part of whole segments consider to be whole segments, 85-90%

Whole segment over size(L over 5cm) and undersize(L less than 3cm): within 10%

Broken segments :L<3cm (L less than 1/3 part of whole segments):within 7.5%

Damage: within 5%

Clumps(3 or more than 3 mandarin clump together): under 5% by weight.

Seeds of mandarin:  within 1%

Peels of mandarin:  within 1%

Metal/glass/plastic/stone/sand/soil or any other FMV/EVM: Non-existence.

D.Chemical parameters of mandarin segments and broken

Contamination: pesticides, fungicides, metals, mycotoxines, radioactivity, according to EEC regulations, USFDA and China National Standards.

Microbiology: NO apparent disease.

Storage and transporting: cleanly stored and transported at or under temperature of minus 18 degrees centigrade (DC).
