The DRM-1 remote control works with Sony and Canon camcorder with LANC terminal and Sony digital camera with ACC terminal. It provides function such as start/stop recording, zoom and focusing without accessing the camcorder body, while the camcorder is mounted on a tripod.

Standby button - Put the camcorder in standby mode(for selective camcorder model)

On screen button - Allow display of images on connected TV screen

Focus button - Provides manual or auto focus function.

Rec Search - Scrolling of previously recorded scene

Photo button - To capture image on tapes or memory card.

Start/Stop - Start/Stop recording
