Air heating element
1. Types
Blowing type: insulated type with wave radiator, uninsulated type with wave radiator, insulated type with inserted foil radiator, insulated type with comb radiator.
Heater with fan: insulated type with fan, uninsulated type with fan.
Convecting type air heater.
2. Some appliances.
Blowing type: room heater, bathroom heater, air conditioner heater, drying room heater, clothes dryer, hand dryer, air conditioner system for electric car, discharging loader for battery.
Convecting type: moistureproof and dew proof for electronic equipments, heating for electronic controll case, room heater.
3. Notice in appliance.
Blowing type:
1)This type of PTC air heater need a fan to blow, usually the faster is the air blowing speed, the larger is the power;
2)When PTC is used in very low ambient temperature, it have to be special designed;
3)PTC heater do not be damaged without air blowing, but the power is very low;
4)The power could be adjusted by air blowing speed; or it could be adjusted by voltage; or changing the number of heaters.
5)The surface tempetature on heater would be higher without air blowing. A thermostat could be assembled on the heater, preventing the damage of the holde;
6)The surface temperature on dispersion plate is closed to the curie temperature, without air blowing; but the surface temperature on dispersion plate will be lower than the curie temperature very much, with air blowing;
Convecting type.
1)Heating power depends on assembling methods, direction of the heater;
2)Keep air flowing itself for heat could be diffused;
3)The heating power will be increased 2~4 times, when the heater is blowed;
4)The heating power will be increased, when the heater is assembled on a metal holder.
