Basic principle

1. Zno arresters is now the most advanced international over-voltage protector. Due to its core, components resistors are mainly made from zinc oxide formula. Compared with the traditional sic arresters, Zno arresters have greatly improved the volt-ampere characteristics of resistors, improved the voltage’s flow capacity and brought the fundamental changes of Lightning arrester characteristics.

2. When lightning arrester in normal working voltage, only microamps flow past it. When suffer overvoltage, excellent volt-amper characteristics of Lightning arrester play a role,the current through Lightning arrester increases to over thousands of amps instantly, and lightning arrester is in on-state. Release overvoltage energy so that effectively limit an infringement which the over-voltage bring to the Power Transmission Equipment.

3. The purpose of disconnector lightning arrester is in exceptional cases when the arrester’s failure lead to damaged, frequency short-circuit current make disconnector to action, and the disconnector ground terminal auto off open, then the arrester’ fault break away from the system, and show that failure arrester need to be replaced. To reach this goal, disconnector must have the characteristics of fast action and tolerability of the provisions of current impact and the capacity of movement loads.
