“shelf-taping” it is not necessary to drive thread in the workpiece with screw tap, but it can be driven into workpiece directly using tools after pre-cutting a hole, So it is highly efficient and simple and simple in installation, what’s more ,it increases load capacity of material and wearing resistance, which can avoid damage of thread effectively.
Installation
Install the shelf-taping to the special tool, and then drive the tool into pre-cutting hole after one round , After making sure the tool to be vertical with the surface of workpiece , drive the insert which is installed to the tool into hole forcibly. When the surface of the shelf-taping insert is under the workpiece surface about 0.2mm, stop driving and extract the tool from hole in the opposite direction .
