AFTERCOOLER TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Compressed air is hot and saturated with moisture upon leaving the air-compressor. Moisture in the compressed air-supply will corrode working parts, shortening their life span and resulting in repair and replacement down time.
FUNCTIONS
Water-cooled after-coolers perform two essential functions. They rapidly reduce temperature of the discharged air from the compressor to a safe operating range. Substantial amount of the entrained moisture will be removed.
FEATURES
The unique system whereby water passes through the copper-nickel tubing and air-flows in the opposite direction through baffled plate inside the hot galvanized shell casing ensures trouble free operation of after-coolers. Each after-cooler is furnished with correct number square inches of zinc anode to minimize galvanic corrosion.
SPEEDO After-coolers are fitted with an efficient centrifugal moisture separator that comes with 75 micron filter.
