Full-Field Speed Goniophotometer

The Full-Field Speed Goniophotometer is upgraded from the 2M2D goniophotometer by the advanced goniophotometer theory of multi-field combination and detectors mutual correction, and the technics are much more matured . It has high measurement speed & accuracy and flexible configuration. Powerful  functions can be realized  when the cost is not increased so much. 

Detector D1 directly receives light from the light source to realize near-field measurement, the typical measurement distance is around 2~3m. Detector D1 can be a photometer head or multi detectors. And the system can be compact that only equips Detector D1, or it can be a mirror type. For the later, M1 is covered when Detector D1 works.                                 

Compact goniophotometer
It can work as a compact goniophotometer when Detector D1 is a photometer head. It suits to measure the luminous intensity  of small or weak  sources. And it is the best way to measure total luminous flux of various size sources by illuminance integrating method which is recognized as the most accurate by the CIE.
Near-field goniophotometer
It can work as a near-field goniophotometer when detector D1 is an imaging luminance meter which measures the luminance in a plane synchronously. It can measure the spatial luminance distribution of light sources, and with special analysing software, it can deduce the far field quantities, e.g. luminous intensity, illuminance distribution in every section by  ray tracing and correction.    

Full-field goniophotometry
As there are multi detectors configured in the system, by the special software, it can realize mutual corrections between detectors to further increase the accuracy, and it can analyze the photometric and goniophotometric quantities in any spatial section in full-space with the ray-analysing software.

 

THE STATE OF THE ART PERFORMANCE OF THE FULL-FIELD SPEED GONIOPHOTOMETER

Highest stability (10 times higher) 
Since the test lamps or luminaires do not move during measurement sampling, the errors caused by motion can therefore be avoided, and the most steady specified working state of test light source can be achieved. When measuring the light sources which are sensitive to moving/temperature, e.g. discharge lights, LEDs, the stability of the tested light source in this goniophotometer can be 10 times higher than typical centric moving mirror goniophotometers


Extremely high measurement speed (6 times faster) 
The system avoid the rotation of the test lamps around horizontal axis, and the rotation speed around the test light source can be extremely high. Precise driving device and high-speed angle encoder make it realize as high as 6 times than general type of goniophotometers  without losing accuracy.


Flexible configuration to realize multi in one
The Full-field Speed Goniophotometer has flexible configuration according to the users requirements. By multi detectors, it can realize near-field, quasi-far -field and far-field measurement as well as spatial luminance and color distribution measurement. Buy only one Full-field Speed Goniophotometer, the user can own multi high accuracy goniophotometers with different functions. As it can realize mutual correction by different detectors, the goniophotometer is not only the powerful but also the most accurate in the world. Customer  can also select only one function so as to lower the cost.

 

Extremely wide dynamic range(100 times wider) 
The easy to use multi-detector arrangement makes the GO-R5000 possible to achieve the widest dynamic range and highest detecting sensitivity, which is around 100 times than centric moving mirror goniophotometer. It is suitable for the measurement of large and small, strong and weak intensity lamps and luminaires.

 

Ultra-low stray light 
The whole system is working in a relative open space, the unexpected light can go far away from the measuring light path. It is much better than the situation when a great deal of stray light is reflected in narrow channel. Precisely designed long nose stray light reducer and baffles have excellent anti-stray light performance.


Extremely high angle accuracy 
The drivirg principle is relatively simple and reliable. The angle encoder is located at the end out-put axis.The precise closing-ring mechanism makes GO-R5000 Goniophotometer realize the extremely high angle accuracy even under high measurement speed.


Space saving 
The height requirement of the dark room is much lower than other goniophotometers with rotating mirrors.
The arrangement of two mirrors largely saves the space occupancy of the darkroom .
If the customer selects the near-field function only, the dark room can be very compact. And the system can still realize high measurement accuracy (including far-field distribution measurement).
