7.Properties:

Molybdenum alloy is a non-ferrous metal with base metal molybdenum by addition of other metals, such as titanium, zirconium, hafnium, tungsten and rare earth.

With good thermal, electrical and low coefficent of thermal expansion, the molybdenum alloy has excellent strength at temperature to 1100 to 1650 Celsius degree and has better fabric ability than tungsten. 

Molybdenum is also highly resistant to corrosion of melting glass.

Molybdenum usually used for grid and anode in radio valves, supporting material in electric light, pressure casting & extrusion moulds, parts in spacecrafts, thermocouples in glass industry, heat exchanger and valves in sulfuric acid production.
