The XC mining hydro cyclone is mainly used for dry tailings discharge. The spigot of the hydrocyclone is equipped with a special “fishtail” device. The overflow box is equipped with a special “siphon” device. Therefore, a high underflow concentration and a low overflow concentration can be achieved. If the mineral is easy to dewater and concentrate, the bottom flow consistency of that mineral can reach up to 75%.The overflow consistency is very low. XC hydrocyclones can be designed as a whole hydrocyclone group to be used.
