Structure and working principle of Coal Slime Dryer

Coal slime dryer consists of heat source, break up device, belt conveyors, feeders, rotary drum, a belt feeder, induced draft fan, discharger and power cabinet composition. Its working principle as below. Because the coal slime with sticky, when it goes into dryer will pass the following working zone during drying process. First is the guiding zone, wet coal slime contacts the high temperature hot wind and water evaporates rapidly when it goes into this zone. The material lifted by large advance angle lifting plate will be leaded to next working zone without forming bond;Second is the cleaning zone. Wet coal slime is lifted by lifting plates forming material veil in this zone. It is easy to bond the cylinder shell when the material falling down. There is cleaning device be designed in this zone, it cleans the bonding material very reasonably. In this processing the clean device also play a role to crush the united block material. Accordingly the heat exchange area will be enlarged and the drying rate will be increased. Third is the oblique lifting plate zone. The material in this zone has shown low moisture and became a loosen state, and can not form the bonding phenomenon. Material after heat exchange achieves the required water status and goes into the last discharging zone. Fourth is the discharging zone. There is no lifting plate device on the cylinder here. Material scroll and slide to the discharge opening. The whole drying process is finished here.

Coal slime rotary dryer main stature

2. Adapting downstream drying method, the smoke and wet material goes into the dryer from the same side. Thus could acquire high evaporation intensity using high temperature smoke. The temperature of dryer discharge port is low, heat efficiency is high.

3. The operation parameters can be changed according to different material properties. So that the material inside the dryer cylinder could form one stable full cut material curtain, heat exchanging is more fully.

4. Coal slime dryer system using the new type feed, discharge device. Put an end to the drum dryer feed plug, not continuous, uneven and returning materials, and so reduce the load of dust removal system.

5. New internal structure strengthens the cleaning of distributed material and heat conduction, eliminates the sticky phenomenon of inner cylinder. It is more adaptable to the material moisture and stickiness.

6. The product size and moisture could be controlled according to user requirement. The moisture could be lower than 8% while drying the coal slime, the size could be controlled smaller than 8mm.
