GNCE protective decontamination agent, DTM-641, is a kind of effective Perfluorocarbon resin solution, Specifically allocated for improving the ability of allocating water and oil and easy decontamination and to easily wash of textile fabrics.It is applicable to various natural or synthetic fibers, including cotton and micro fiber. It still has good initial performance when treated, while its washing fastness and resistance to dry cleaning fastness will be better.Even dry in the air after washing, it could ensure good protection. DTM-641 is compatible with the vast majority of textile auxiliaries, and also provides a soft hand.

(The major components of DTM-641 is not CFCs ozone-depleting substance, nor PFOS or PFOA-based technical architecture product.)

  Physical and chemical properties

  The storage temperature of DTM-641 is below 50 degree(120°F), if storage up to the temperature for long time, the product will be damaged, at the same time,we must prevent freezing, once frozen,we cannot mix in the process of thawing to room temperature, and should re-analysis and re-test the product

In pre-production.

Application

The optimum dosage of DTM-641 varies by “material”. Fabric composition, chemical additives, processing conditions and so forth will affect the usage amount of products and the effect of use. Referring to"qualified performance" section in "products, applications and testing manual" or turn to good sales, technical representative in GOODNICE to get help and advice.

DTM-641 is usually dealt with stereotypes in the dyeing and finishing plant, Common stereotypes (two-roll or three roll) can be, consistent with the usual method of resin finishing line. Water bath temperature is usually controlled in 15 ~ 40 degrees.

The pressure absorption rate (WPU) of cotton or polyester fabric is usually 50 ~ 75%, because of the difference between WPU of the manufacturers in actual production condition and typical stereotypes given, so we correct different WPU according to adjusting the concentration of pharmaceutical.

In order to achieve the desired effect of wetting and penetration, you can add a variety of wetting agent,for example, Isopropyl alcohol, isobutyl alcohol or non-re-wetting surfactant. We recommend that in dealing with fabric difficult wetting, in the bath, non-re-wet amount of surfactant is 0.5 ~ 1.0 g / L, alcohol is 10 ~ 30g / L.

Note: When using alcohol as a wetting agent, before joining you must dilute and dissolve completely, and add it before other ingredients in the bathing solution. Alcohol should not be added directly to the bathing solution containing fluoride resin, or there soon will produce flocculation. 
When the bubble is too much and needing to add defoamers, we suggest using defoamer with no silicon. Before using defoamer, you must first test and evaluate compatibility between defoamer and bathing solution and defoamer performance affection towards the final product.

Attention

Silicone products, such as softeners, need to be very careful in using, because these substances have a negative impact on the final informance of products. Before the actual production, if you need to use the silicone products, you must evaluate the impact of organic silicon products on performance in the laboratory. DTM-641 usually has a soft effect, so you may add no or less softener in the formula.

Typical recipes

The following recipe is used as a reference for production.Many products are suitable for using with DTM-641, please refer to the manual "Application" section and the application notes of the product of common use. It is proposed that there would be a compatibility and performance assessment between products and formulations in the lab first.

Recommendation:

In dealing with fabric difficult wetting, you can add 0.5~1.0 g/L non-re-wetting surfactant, or 10 ~ 30g / L isopropyl alcohol.

Add 2ml/L acetic acid(60%), regulate pH of the bathing solution to 5.0~6.0.

Polyester / cotton fabric(50%WPU)

Drying and curing

The drying and curing of DTM-641 is usually one step.Dry condition is not very strict, drying temperature and time can have a great range according to the actual situation of the factory. Curing temperature is usually the actual production conditions of each dyeing and finishing plant, for example, it is the condition of heat treatment of fabric or synthetic resin finishing of cotton fabrics. Recommended temperature range is 130 degree~190degree, time is 30s~3min. The condition of finishing fabric is requested by finishing resin.The typical finishing temperature is 150 degree~180 degree.

Re-staining craft.

If it is necessary to re-dye such as complementing color and repair color etc after the fabric treatment, if fabric can be completely and uniformly wetted, then you neednot peel off DTM-641. Temperature, time and mechanical force can help to wet completely. If necessary, you may add some non-re-wet surfactant. When fabric is wetted, you can have re-dying process as long as adding 30% more surfactant. You do not need to do protection process if rinse after dyeing. You just use 30% DTM-641 of the original formula even if there need to be a very high protection performance. Please refer to "Application" and "typical formulation" chapter. This process is suitable for all types of fabrics..
