What are the differences between the Fountain Solution and traditional fountain solution?
Conductance
The additon of every 1% of the traditonal fountain solution into the water tank of the printer will make the electrical counductivity increase by about 300μmhos/cm. When the printer is running at a high speed, the een the PS board and rubber cloth may produce static electricity. As the running speed of the printer gets faster and the running time is extended, the electrical conductivity will increase continuously. The higher the electrical conductivity increase, the higher the likelihood that the water is introduced to the inking roller, the pringting ink is over emulsified and the mirror face/ calcium is produced will be.
As the TPS is mixed into the water tank, the electrical conductivity will be very stable, the likelihood that the water is introduced to the inking roller will be much lower and it will be easier to control the ink water balance. Therefore, it will be effective to prevent the over emulsification of printing ink and production of the mirror face/calcium.
Why does Fountain Solution enable the printing oil saving and quick drying?
It is not easy to cause the over emulsification of the printing of the printing oil when the universal Fountain Solution is used, where the pringing oil always maintains the original quality. When the printing oil is transferred on the principal plane of the paper, less printing oil is penetrated into the paper and thus the printing oil gets thick on the principal plane. The excess thickness of the printing oil is just the printing oil saved. As less printing oil and water contents are absorbed, the paper will be dry quickly. Resultantly, the consumption of spraying powder is reduced and the handouts are prevented from the scratch in printing.
Why does the use of Fountain Solution result in thin and clearer lattic points?
Fountain Solution does not damage the molecules of the printing oil and thus the printing oil always maintains the original characteristics. As less pointing oil is penetrated into the paper, less printing oil is also diffused on both sides, and resultantly the lattice point is thin and clearer and gives a more stereoscopic impression.
