FT-50A PCM Multiplexer can be configured as PDH fiber/electrical integrator, 4E1 48 cross-connect channel PCM equipment or D/I device. The dual optical interfaces adopt hot backup.

* MST board: provides 4 E1 interfaces (75Ω or 120Ω is optional), performs multiplexing and de-multiplexing of E1, non-blocking time slot cross connection between 896 64Kbps time slots, testing of 48 access channels, and network management function, dual MST boards support backup and hot swap.

* PWR board: -48V DC or 220V AC is optional, supports dual power supply.

* FXO card: provides 8 channels FXO interface

* FXS card: provides 8 channels FXS interface
