Safe Boot steps:
1,Put the engine model on the horizontal position.
2, Gently turn the flywheel to check the flywheel rotates smoothly or not, and check the connecting rod. Then gently turn the flywheel until the flywheel rotates smoothly. Gently rub the outer wall of the main cylinder with dry cloth or tissue, and make sure that no other objects in the cylinder surface

3 Check whether the two connecting rods are linkable and form 90-degree angle with the crank, if not, adjust the connecting rods.

4. Slowly move the alcohol lamp under the head of the main cylinder of the engine model. Light the alcohol lamp in case of security.

5. Heating for a few seconds, we begin to strike the flywheel gently until it can automatically rotate.

6. During the whole process of heating, we should keep our hands away from the main cylinder (Temperature Danger!)

 

Safe End Steps:

1.After using, please let the alcohol lamp cool naturally.

2.If we want to stop half-way, we should take away the alcohol lamp first, and then put off the alcohol lamp. Let the engine model cool naturally.

3. After the engine model cooling naturally, please put it in the place where the children cannot reach. And the children should be cared by adults to use the engine model, in order to avoid being burned or hurt by the broken glass.

 Notes:

When heating, be careful enough to prevent burns. The wick of the alcohol lamp should not meet the tube. When it burns, it can produce water which can make the tube broken when met.

3. The engine model can rotate at high speed, and the rotation can produce vibration, so we should be careful in case it slides off the table.

4. Add a little alcohol to the alcohol lamp in case that the alcohol lamp is off.
