It is a kind of high quality waterproof membrane, boasting with very excellent waterproof effect and low cost at the same time.
SBS Modified Bitumen-based Waterproofing Membrane
Production Introduction
SBS Modified Asphalt/Bitumen-based waterproofing membrane, is a kind of construction waterproofing rolls made by taking Polyester or fiberglass as its tire, which is impregnated and coated by Styrene - butadiene - styrene (SBS) modified bitumen/ asphalt, and coated with isolation material on its both sides.
Application
Roof and underground waterproof projects of industrial and civil buildings
Waterproof projects for subways, tunnel, bridges, swimming pools, reservoir, canal, etc.
Suitable for building waterproofing in extremely cold and low temperature environment
Features
Good elasticity, tensile strength and high elongation, good low temperature flexibility, puncture resistance and fatigue resistance.
Category
They can be divided into two broad categories as per the birth base: Polyester tire (PY) and glass fiber tire (G).
They can be divided into three categories as per the surface insulating material: polyethylene (PE), fine sand (S) and mineral grains (pieces) materials (M).
They can be divided into type A and type Bas per the physical and mechanical properties.
The waterproof rolls can be divided into 6 different categories as per different tire and isolation material.
Specification
Width: 1000mm
Thickness: 3mm and 4 mm for Polyester tire (PY)
2mm, 3mm and 4 mm for glass fiber tire (G) with the area of 7.5m2, 10 m2, 15 m2 respectively
Construction
Surface treatment brush Prime coating Split seam treatment Hot-melt self-adhesive Joint treatment Full inspection
Note
SBS Modified Asphalt/Bitumen-based waterproofing membrane must be stacked vertically, and its height should not exceed two layers.
Avoid rain, expose to the sun, moisture, fire, and keep ventilation.
